Delivered as Sage’s new European HQ, this 25,000 sq ft workspace is designed around how people come together, focus and share ideas day to day.

We were given the challenge of creating an environment that could flex between different ways of working, from quiet, focused editorial tasks through to large-scale internal events, without losing a sense of identity or cohesion. The space needed to feel intuitive to use, supporting individuals and teams in equal measure while adapting easily to moments of higher activity.

At its centre, a town hall brings the organisation together. Used for companywide gatherings, presentations and informal moments in between, it acts as a natural point of connection, encouraging visibility and interaction across the business. Designed to comfortably accommodate larger groups, the space maintains a consistent level of comfort and usability, even at peak occupancy.

Across the floorplate, a variety of settings give people choice in how they work. Open areas encourage collaboration and exchange, while quieter rooms and booths provide space for focus, calls and content production. The environment supports both in-person and virtual working, allowing teams to move easily between different tasks throughout the day.

Sustainability was approached in a practical, considered way. Existing furniture was reused wherever possible, reducing waste and supporting the project’s sustainability targets.

The space encourages both focused work and shared interaction, reflecting how Sage operates today and how it will continue to evolve.
